The Lecture Room
Atop Number 10’s grand marble staircase, the Lecture Hall's views of The Mall through it's floor to ceiling windows and grand chandeliers give this charming room a touch of regal elegance. Its most unusual feature, and one of the venues biggest mysteries is an ornate yet unfinished Trompe l’oeil painted ceiling, commissioned by the Ridley family in the style of Eugene Delacroix - leader of the French Romantic school.
